No Downtime for TBISS Clients Despite Regional Google Disruption

Yesterday morning, a Google outage hit Bulgaria and the region, disrupting Search, YouTube, Gmail, and Google Cloud for many users.
At TBISS, none of our clients were affected.
Why?
- Private peering with Google at multiple European cities (Sofia, Amsterdam, Frankfurt, London etc.).
- 30+ active routes to Google via direct peerings and upstreams.
- High-capacity bandwidth channels that prevent congestion, even during outages.
- Our NOC team acted instantly when some routes stayed “up” but stopped working — manually rerouting traffic around 08:00 AM.
The result: uninterrupted service for all TBISS Ltd. clients.
Full transparency:
Clients can check this themselves in the TBISS Partners Portal: partners.tbros.net and the public can see it in our Looking Glass: lg.tbros.net
This incident is a reminder that even the biggest networks can fail — but resilience, redundancy, capacity, and transparency make all the difference.
